Aren't you just burning to know what I'm up to at the moment? No? Well, here you go anyway.

Studies

I'm done with my studies (for now)! I graduated from university with a Bachelors in April of 2025. I want to continue my studies somewhere else in a couple years, but I haven't figured out when or where exactly yet. For now, I'll keep working in the software industry.

Work

I have officially quit my software development job, after over 4.5 years of employment (1 year of that full-time) at my current company. My contract expires in March 2026.

Since I don't have anything new lined up yet, this means I'm now looking for a new job. Wherever this search ends up taking me, I hope it will be something that provides a change of scenery.

Places

Currently, I'm in Karlsruhe, where I have been for most of the past five years.

Places I'll (probably) be in 2026:

• Brussels (for FOSDEM!)
• Berlin (around the middle of February and March, and then fairly regularly for the rest of the year as well)
• Crete (beginning of April)
• Japan (15.04. to ~10.05.), in these areas:

• Korea (~10.05. to 15.05.), probably around here:
